Browser & Device Support
Online banking runs on any modern browser with TLS 1.3 support. The supported matrix covers Chrome 110+, Edge 110+, Firefox 110+ and Safari 16+ on desktop Windows, macOS and major Linux distributions. Mobile browsers on iOS 16+ and Android 13+ work as a companion to the native app, though mobile cheque deposit requires the app for camera integration.
Legacy browsers (Internet Explorer, Safari 14, Chrome below 100) are blocked at the TLS handshake layer. This is a security control, not a design choice — older TLS suites leak session data.
Sessions & MFA
Every online banking session is single-device at establishment. Concurrent sessions from different devices force the first to sign out. Idle sessions time out at 12 minutes with a 10-minute warning bar. Active sessions cap at 120 minutes to bound token lifetime.
Multi-factor authentication is enforced at first sign-in from any new device, for all transactions above $2,500, and for profile changes. SMS OTP, authenticator-app TOTP, and voice-call codes are supported. Consumers are encouraged to review the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau guidance on consumer electronic-funds protections under Reg E.
